Med school moves fast.
Your cards should too.
Drop a Costanzo chapter, a First Aid PDF, or a lecture recording. Cortest builds high-yield cards, then runs Focus Lock sessions that track your personal forgetting curve.
Free to start. No credit card. ~60 seconds to your first deck.
Pre-med · Med school M1–M4 · USMLE Step 1, 2 CK, 3 · Residency boards
The volume doesn't slow down. Your memory does.
You read 40 pages of Robbins, highlight everything, and forget most of it by morning. First Aid alone won't cut it. Anki works if you survive the setup tax — most people don't.
That's a tools problem, not a you problem.
- — Highlight Robbins, hope it sticks
- — Maintain a 20,000-card Anki deck alone
- — Cram First Aid the week before Step
- — PDF in → high-yield cards out in seconds
- — Cards link back to the source passage
- — FSRS resurfaces weak mechanisms before they fade
Where it fits your week.
Pre-clinical blocks
Drop a week of lectures. Get a deck per system. Study between anatomy lab and the next exam.
Step 1 + Step 2 CK
First Aid, Pathoma, Sketchy supplements. Turn your personal notes into recall-tested flashcards.
Shelf exams
OnlineMedEd, UWorld incorrects. Build a weak-spot deck per rotation in under 10 minutes.
Mechanisms, not memorization
"Explain differently" rewrites any card as a first-principles mechanism when rote recall isn't enough.
Focus Lock
25-minute timed sessions. Leave the tab, your Focus Score takes the hit. Keeps pre-exam cramming honest.
Mastery trend
See exactly which systems are drifting before the shelf. No more surprises on test day.
Locked in, ahead of schedule.
“I fed it my cardio block notes and had a 120-card deck before lunch. Beat my Anki setup by three hours.”
M2, Public Medical SchoolStep 1 · June 2026“The source-passage link is the part I didn't know I needed. Every card traces back to Robbins. No more "wait, is this even right?"”

Questions we get a lot.
Can it handle First Aid?
Yes. PDF upload works up to 40 MB total. First Aid + your annotations, chapter at a time.
Is it accurate enough for Step prep?
Every card passes schema validation and links back to the source passage. When you spot an error, report it — we fix and re-deploy. Don't use it as your only source; use it as your primary recall tool on top of First Aid, Pathoma, or UWorld.
What about Anki decks I already have?
Import any .apkg file. Review history is preserved. You can keep using your deck, just in a modern UX.
Does it support mnemonics and images?
Yes for images (PNG / JPG / slide screenshots). Image-to-card works via GPT-4o vision. Mnemonic generation lives under the "Explain differently" action on any card.
How is this different from AnKing?
AnKing is a community deck — static, massive, one size fits all. Cortest builds decks from your material, at your pace, tuned to your forgetting curve.
